BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

To help you achieve the best results, please follow these guidelines before your waxing service:

  1. Hair should be approximately ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).
  2. Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours before your appointment.
  3. Arrive with clean skin free of lotions, oils, makeup, deodorant, or self-tanner.
  4. Wear loose, comfortable clothing after body waxing.
  5. Stay well hydrated.


PLEASE AVOID BEFORE YOUR WAXING

  1. Retinol, Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene, tazarotene, or other prescription vitamin A products on the treatment area for 5–7 days (or as directed by your prescribing provider).
  2. Chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, laser treatments, or aggressive exfoliation on the area for 7–14 days, depending on the treatment.
  3. Sunburned, irritated, broken, or infected skin.
  4. Excessive sun exposure or tanning for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
  5. Shaving the area for approximately 2–3 weeks before your waxing appointment, if possible.
